CANCELLATION POLICY
Below you will find our cancellation policies for appointments, wedding events and groups.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS

IMPORTANT:

• If you need to cancel your appointment: CALL (925) 292-4066.
• If we don't answer, please LEAVE A MESSAGE with our answering service.
• EMAIL/TEXT or other types of cancellation ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Whenever an appointment is scheduled, we start a process in order to make it the best possible experience.

As part of our reservation process we:
• Assign staff for you exclusively
• We do not allow overbooking
• Assign time and/or equipment
• Verify all supplies are available for your service
• Order supplies if needed
• If your service requires, we will bring extra staff.


At out own discretion, we will do every effort to accommodate your re-scheduling needs, however the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation Notice:
• We require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
• With a notice of 48 hours or more: No charge(s) will apply.
• Less than 48 hour notice: 50% of the service price will be charged.
• Last minute/same day/"No Shows": 100% of the service price will be charged.


WEDDING SERVICES CANCELLATIONS


The Livermore Spa has successfully hosted many weddings parties at our day spa, and provided makeup and hair services at multiple venues in different cities of Northern California. Some of our brides reserve their service date a few weeks or even a year in advance. In any case we are 100% committed to be there for you.

The moment you reserve a service date, we block completely all other wedding parties and regular appointment requests for that date-time.

In order to be able to guarantee your service date and services:
• We calculate the total services and the cost.
• We require a 50% deposit when making the reservation.
• In order to get a full refund we will require a 2-4 weeks notice (depending on the size and location of your reservation).

Please note that a 20% gratuity will be added to groups of 3 or more.

Once your reservation is made:
• All balances should be paid in full at least 2-4 weeks prior to your event date.
• 2-4 weeks prior to your event, at our own discretion we may allow changes if they are feasible and don't impact our original agreement.

We have extensive experience in weddings and special events, the above items are designed to prevent misunderstanding and last minute changes, our goal is to make this a stress free and memorable experience.


SPECIAL EVENT AND GROUPS CANCELLATIONS


The Livermore Spa has successfully served many group parties at our day spa, and at Tri-Valley venues in different cities in Northern California. The moment you reserve a service date, we block completely all other parties and regular appointment requests for that date-time.

To guarantee your service date:
• We request a credit card to have in file in case of cancellation.
• Depending on the size of you party we may require a deposit of up to 50% of the total services scheduled.

If you need to cancel your event the following policies apply:
• Two weeks notice: No charge
• Less than two weeks notice: 50% charge
• Same day/last minute/"no show": 100% charge.                   
• (if applicable the deposit will be subtracted from the charge)

REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY
Most of our products are professional level with 100% guarantee. We want you to get results, and we will be happy to re-evaluate a recommended treatment to get you back in right direction.

Below you will find details on refund/return policies and how we issue payment for refunds.

PRODUCT RETURNS/REFUNDS


Jan Marini and Dermalogica Products Returns.
We guarantees the quality of their products 100%, if for any reason a product doesn't work for you or you simply don't like it, bring it back and we will replace it or will give you a refund, however the following rules apply:

Jan Marini or Dermalogica product returns:
• Bring proof of purchase
• Products must have been purchased at our store
• Unused products can be return within 60 days from date of purchase
• Unused products must be sealed in proper packaging
• Used products can be return within 30 days from date of purchase
• Used products mas have at least 50% of the contents remaining
• Special ordered products cannot be returned (products that we specially order for you).
• After 60 days, there are no refunds. We will review each case on individual basis and decide if we can issue store credit or a replacement product, however there is no guarantee that we will.



The following applies for ALL other product returns:
• Bring proof of purchase
• Products must have been purchased at our store

REFUND PAYMENT
We take all major credit cards, checks, gift certificates, third-party gift certificates and cash.
Please check the information below accordingly or call us if you have any questions at (925) 292-4066.

Credit Card Refunds:
• Credit card refunds will be given to credit card purchases with proof of purchase.
• You can optionally get store credit or a spa gift certificate
• Refunds to credit card may take up to 8 business days.
• Let us know if the refund doesn't post after 8 days. So we can call the processor.
• We won't issue any cash refunds for credit card purchases, not even for ATM transactions.

Cash refunds:
• We don't carry a lot of cash in our register.
• A cash refund will only be given to cash purchases with proof of purchase.
• You can optionally get store credit or a spa gift certificate
• If for any reason we don't have enough cash, we will issue a check.


Gift Certificates:
• Promotional gift certificates are not refundable for cash or credit.
• Unused portion of any gift certificate will be refunded with one our spa certificates
• Expired certificates can still be redeemed, but only for the original amount paid (not for the face value).
• Example A $100 expired certificated that was purchase for $89; will be redeemable for $89 in services.

Checks:
• We will refund with a business check all purchases made with a personal check.
• You can optionally get store credit or a spa gift certificate
• We can issue a check in person or mail it, please allow 5-7 business day for the check to arrive.
